NILD Betamethasone Dipropionate Ointment USP is a dermatologic ointment intended for use in affected skin areas only. Each gram of the ointment contains 0.64 mg Betamethasone Dipropionate, equivalent to 0.5 mg Betamethasone, in a base of mineral oil and white petrolatum. The usual dosage recommended for users is to apply the ointment once daily and in some cases twice daily may be necessary. This ointment should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should be kept out of reach of children. The ointment is packaged in a 45g tube and can be stored at 25°C with excursions permitted between 15° and 30°C. If the seal is punctured or not visible, it should be returned to place of purchase.
