Brimonidine Topical Gel is a medication used for topical application only. It contains 5mg of the active ingredient brimonidine tartrate, equivalent to 3.3mg of brimonidine free base, per gram. The recommended dosage is to apply a pea-sized amount once a day to the forehead, chin, nose, and each cheek while avoiding the eyes and lips. This medication is not for oral, ophthalmic or intravaginal usage and should be kept out of reach of children. Complete prescribing information can be found in the package insert. The medication should be stored at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), with excursions permitted between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F).
