Mucinex DM is an expectorant and cough suppressant that can help in getting temporary relief from cough, bronchial irritation, or sore throat caused due to cold or flu. It contains bi-layer tablets with 1200 mg Guaifenesin and 60 mg Dextromethorphan HBr that thins and loosens mucus for 12 hours.
