This is a drug called Dyclonine HCI that acts as an oral pain reliever and contains glycerin 33% acting as an oral demulcent. It's primarily used for temporary relief of occasional minor irritation, pain, sore mouth and throat, associated with canker sores, minor discomfort, and protection of irritated areas in sore mouth and throat. It comes with warnings not to use it if the printed seal over the cap is torn or missing. If sore throat is severe and persists for more than two days, it comes with guidelines on when to see a doctor. It can be used on children aged four and older for up to four times a day, and it's not advisable to be used on children below four years of age. It's stored at room temperature and contains other inactive ingredients.*
