AZO Urinary Pain Relief is a tablet containing 97.5 mg Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride. It helps in fast relief from urinary pain, burning, urgency, and frequent associated with urinary tract infections. The product must not be used for more than two days, and it comes with a caution that the tablets sealed in blisters shouldn't be used if already opened or damaged. It also contains warnings that pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid using it and that long-term administration of phenazopyridine hydrochloride has caused necplasia in rats (large intestine) and mice (liver). Moreover, it may cause stomach upset, and the urine color may turn reddish-orange, which can stain clothing or other items.*
