It is used for temporary relief of minor pain due to arthritis, backaches, muscle strains, sprains, bruises, and cramps. The product should not come in contact with the eyes, wounds or damaged skin. It is flammable, so it should not be used near flame or heat. Adults and children over 12 years of age can apply it to the affected area no more than three to four times a day, while children under 12 must ask a doctor before using it. If the condition worsens, symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or if redness or irritation develops, users must stop and ask the doctor.
