This is a description of an antifungal cream marketed as a generic version of Tinactin® Antifungal Cream. The cream contains 1% tolnaftate as the active antifungal ingredient effective at curing and preventing most athlete's foot, relieving itching and burning and fighting fungal infection. The product is also suitable for the relief of rashes and itches caused by other skin conditions and it is available in a 10z netwt tube. The usage directions include washing the affected area and drying it completely before applying a thin layer twice daily. It is cautioned that the product is not effective on the scalp or nails and that contact with the eyes should be avoided. The product is not recommended for children below 2 years, unless directed by a doctor, is not to be swallowed and should be kept out of the reach of children.
