This is a drug fact label for a nasal decongestant containing oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05%. It provides temporary relief for nasal congestion caused by upper respiratory allergies, hay fever and cold. It is important not to use for more than three days, in excess of recommended dose or by more than one person to prevent worsening symptoms, spreading of infection or complications. It should be kept out of reach of children and store under the room temperature. This nasal spray may cause temporary discomfort such as stinging, sneezing or burning. Adults and children aged 6-12 years are advised to take two to three sprays in each nostril, not more frequently than every 10-12 hours. Not to be used for children under six years of age without consulting a doctor. The inactive ingredients include benzalkonium chloride, benzyl alcohol, camphor, edetate disodium, eucalyptol, menthol, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium phosphate dibasic and sodium phosphate monobasic. The pack warns against using the product if the printed seal over the cap is missing or torn.*
