This is a description for a drug that contains Mineral oil, an intestinal lubricant that is used to relieve occasional constipation. It generally produces a bowel movement within 6 to 8 hours. However, it should not be used if you have difficulty swallowing, stomach reflux, abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, and noticed a sudden change in bowel habits, which persists over a period of 2 weeks. Do not take with meals, take only at bedtime, and do not use for a period longer than 1 week if you are bedridden or aged.
