This is a description for a medication called "Mucus Relief". It contains Guaifenesin at a strength of 400mg and comes in immediate release caplet form. The medication helps ease coughs and makes them more productive for easier elimination of mucus. It is dye-free and provides up to 2400mg of Guaifenesin per day. The medication is an expectorant that helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions. Children between 6 and 12 years and adults are recommended to take one-half to one caplet every 4 hours as needed. The inactive ingredients include magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cel-iulose, (collodal) silicon dioxide, (co) povidore, sicalcium phosphate, maltotexirin, sotiurm starch abcolate and stearic acid.*
