This is an over-the-counter oral suspension medication that contains Aluminum hydroxide (200g), Magnesium hydroxide (200mg), and Simethicone (20mg) as active ingredients. It is used to relieve acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and gas. The medication is a generic version of Maalox Regular Strength. Users are advised to shake well before use and not exceed 24 teaspoonfuls in a 24 hour period. The medication should not be used for more than 2 weeks without a doctor's prescription. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age without a doctor's consultation. The medication is stored at room temperature and is not to be frozen. Inactive ingredients include benzyl alcohol, butylparaben, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, flavor, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, propylparaben, and purified water.*
