This is a Drug Facts label found on a bottle of hand sanitizer that contains Ethanol as the active ingredient. It is recommended for repeated use to help reduce bacteria that could potentially cause disease. It is a skin antiseptic/sanitizer that is enhanced with moisturizers and contains Aloe Vera gel. The product effectively kills disease-causing germs within seconds and is also effective against MRSA, VRE, E.coli 0157:H7, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and other organisms. It assists with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard Compliance. It is for hospital and professional use only. It comes in a one-gallon bottle. The inactive ingredients include water, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, PEG-75 Lanolin, Aloe Vera gel, and fragrance. The user is warned that it is a flammable product, and they should keep it away from fire, hat, or flame. They are also warned not to use it near eyes, and in case of eye contact, to flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention if the irritation persists. If accidentally ingested, they are to seek medical attention immediately. They should store the product in a cool dry place below 104°F and keep it out of reach of children. The user should apply an appropriate amount of the product to the palm of their hand and rub until hands are completely covered. They should not rinse or wipe with a towel.
