Solarguard MD is a sunscreen that protects against harmful UVA/UVB rays, particularly important for scarred or sensitive skin. Failure to protect such skin can lead to permanent darkening. Solarguard MD is clinically proven to reduce the risk of skin cancer, darkening, and sun damage. The formula combines sunscreen barriers with light reflection technology, using a targeted application approach. The active ingredients include Homosalate, Oxybenzone, Octocrylene, Octisalate, and Avobenzone. Solarguard MD should be applied liberally 20 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied at frequent intervals throughout the day, especially after swimming or perspiring. Solarguard MD is designed to be used in conjunction with Scarguard MD or other topical scar treatments.*
