Broncochem is a cough syrup containing Chiorpheniramine Maleate (Anthistamine) and Dextromethorphan HBr (Antitussive) as active ingredients. It is used for relief against allergic cough and allergy symptoms. However, it is advised that the medicine should not be used if the patient is taking prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If the patient's cough has phlegm or if the patient has respiratory problems or chronic bronchitis or if it's a case of allergy to another component of this formula, then it's important to consult a doctor before use. If symptoms last more than five days, the child feels dizzy or nervous or cannot sleep, or there is a fever or headache, this could be a sign of a serious condition. The product should be stored between 66-77 °F and out of the reach of children. Made in the Dominican Republic, the product should be used as directed and not to exceed four doses in a 24 hour period.*
