Label (Mesalamine Delayed Release Tablets Usp 800 mg 2)
This is a prescription medication for Mesalamine in the form of Delayed-Release Tablets. Each tablet contains 800 mg of Mesalamine. It is used for the treatment of moderately active ulcerative colitis. The recommended dose is 1,600 mg (two 800 mg tablets) three times daily. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not cut, broken, or chewed. It is important not to substitute this medication for other forms of Mesalamine. Store at a temperature between 20°C to 25°C.
