Acyclovir Cream 5% manufactured and distributed by Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC for use only in treating cold sores. Each gram contains 50 mg of acyclovir, USP. The usual dosage is to apply the cream five times per day for four days. See the prescribing information for more details. The cream should be stored at or below 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) with excursions permitted between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]. NDC 65162-836-14.*
