This is the description for Voriconazole for Injection. The injection is a single-dose vial containing 200mg of voriconazole used for intravenous infusion only after dilution. It is not made with natural rubber latex and has no preservatives. It must be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). To prepare the solution, 19 mL of water for injection should be used to give a clear solution containing 10mg/mL voriconazole and an extractable volume of 20mL. The solution should be further diluted before use by adding a recommended compatible infusion solution to get a final voriconazole solution containing 0.5-5mg/mL. The appropriate diluents and storage recommendations should be referred to the prescribing information. The injection contains sulfobuty ether B-Cyclodextrin sodium (SBECD).*
