Prep Pad is a non-sterile antiseptic pad made with Povidone-lodine for professional and hospital use. It is manufactured by Dukal LLC and not made with natural rubber latex. The active ingredient is Povidone loding USP 10% for the preparation of the skin prior to surgery. It contains alkyl glucoside, citric acid, glycerin, hydroxyethyl cellulose, and nonoxynol-10. However, it should not be applied to persons allergic to iodine or in the eyes. It is 1% titratable iodine and stored at ambient temperatures. Prep Pad comes in a pouch and is for external use only.*
