This is a drug facts label of a Hemorrhoidal Ointment. It can temporarily relieve itching and discomfort due to hemorrhoids, shrink hemorrhoidal tissue and relieve burning. It can also provide a coating for relief of anorectal discomforts and protect the inflamed and irritated anorectal surface to make bowel movements less painful. However, people with heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or trouble urinating due to prostate enlargement should ask a doctor before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a physician before using it. Children under 12 years of age should ask a doctor before use. If bleeding occurs, the condition gets worse or does not get better within 7 days or the introduction of the applicator into the rectum causes additional pain, use should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted. It is not available through if there are any instructions for applying and cleansing the affected area.*
