This medicine should not be used if the packets are open or torn. It is also not safe to use if the patient is taking or has taken monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease, or two weeks after stopping such drugs.
