The Eyewash Additive includes 1% Chlorhexidine gluconate with purified water and propylene glycol as an antimicrobial preservative. This is used as a preservative for potable self-contained emergency eyewash stations. The station should be cleaned and refilled every 120 days when using this product. It is important not to dilute the mixture or use it with other chemicals. The product comes in a bottle of 8 fl oz [236 mL]. If undiluted Eyewash Additive comes into contact with the eye, immediately flush it with clean water. This product is for external use only, and one should wear protective eyewear and gloves when handling it.*
