Coppertone sunscreen with gradual self-tanner is a product that protects against the sun while gradually tanning the skin. It contains various active ingredients like avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene that help prevent sunburn. A gradual tan appears within 12-24 hours after the first two applications. It advises shaking the bottle before use and to apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. It is recommended to reapply after swimming, sweating or towel-drying, at least every 2 hours. The product warns that it should not be used on damaged or broken skin and to keep it out of eyes. If swallowed, contact Poison Control Center immediately. This sunscreen is not recommended for children under 6 months.*
