It compares to the active ingredients in IcyHot Lidocaine Dry Spray and is intended for temporary relief of minor pain. The product desensitizes aggravated nerves, dries instantly and offers fast and long-lasting relief with a no-mess continuous spray. The net weight of the product is 4 oz (113 g). The active ingredients include Lidocaine 4% Topical analgesic and Menthol 1% Topical analgesic. The packaging warns that the product is flammable and should be stored below 120°F (49°C). It should not be used on large areas of the body, damaged, irritated or swollen skin, and should not be used for more than one week without consulting a doctor. The product should not come into contact with eyes or mucous membranes, and should not be used with a heating pad or other pain relief products. The contents are under pressure, so they should not be punctured. If the condition worsens or lasts for more than 7 days or clears up and occurs again within a week, a doctor should be consulted.
