This is a fluoride treatment gel with 1.23% fluoride ion density used to prevent dental decay for in-office use only. It comes with a set of warnings, the most important being to keep it away from children and to avoid swallowing it. The instructions for use involve shaking well before applying for usage, then drying the teeth and inserting the trays into the mouth. After biting lightly for 1-4 minutes, excess gel should be removed, and the patient should not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes.
