This is a Fluoride Treatment Gel that helps to prevent dental decay. It contains 1.23% Fluoride ion and is available from 2.09% Sodium Fluoride and Hydrofluoric acid. The gel is for professional office use only and is not intended for home or unsupervised consumer use. The dosage and administration require shaking the bottle well before use and filling two single or one dual tray, one-third full with gel. After filling, instruct the patient to bite down lightly but firmly for 'one minute (80% effectiveness) or four minutes (100% effectiveness). Other important information includes the need to keep the product out of reach of children, not swallow, and seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away if the product is accidentally swallowed in quantities greater than would normally occur with a treatment gel. It also contains several inactive ingredients such as Citric Acid, Flavor, Titanium Dioxide, and Xanthan Gum, among others.*
