Albuterol Sulfate HFA is an inhalation aerosol which contains 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane. Each actuation releases 108 mcg of albuterol sulfate for oral inhalation. The net weight of the canister is 189g. It is prescribed to manage bronchospasm in patients with reversible obstructive airway diseases. The canister should be discarded after 200 metered inhalations, when the counter reads 000, kept at room temperature between 68°F and 77°F, and out of reach of children.
