This is a drug fact sheet for a nasal decongestant tablet containing Phenylephrine HCI 5mg. The tablet is meant to temporarily relieve nasal congestion that is caused by sinusitis, common cold, hay fever, and other upper respiratory allergies. The product is not to be used more than the recommended dose and people with several medical conditions such as heart diseases, high blood pressure, and enlargement of the prostate gland should consult a doctor before using it. It also should not be used by people taking prescription MAOI, certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease, or for 2 weeks after stopping these drugs. If pregnant, breast-feeding, or overdosed, people should also contact a health professional or Poison Control Center. The tablet contains Calcium 10mg and inactive ingredients such as crosscarmellose sodium, D&C Red #27 lake, dicalcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, starch, and steari. The packaging contains 250 tablets with 2 tablets per packet. The product is manufactured by Advanced First Aid in Baltimore.*
