This is a drug fact sheet on Hydrocortisone Cream 1%, which is an anti-itch cream used for temporary relief of itching caused by eczema, insect bites, poison ivy or oak, rashes, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, jewelry, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, scrapes, and other minor skin irritations. It is only for external use, and children under the age of 2 should not use it. Adults should use it 1 to 2 times daily, while children under 12 who need this product should consult a doctor first. This cream comes in 25 0.9 gram packets and contains the active ingredient Hydrocortisone USP, aka corticosteroid. It also lists the inactive ingredients, and has precautions and warnings, such as seeing a doctor before using with vaginal discharge, consulting a doctor for external feminine and anal itching, and not exceeding the recommended daily dosage.*

This is a hydrocortisone cream with 10mg of active ingredients per gram. It is used for itch relief due to skin irritations, inflammation, and rashes caused by various factors. The cream should not be used in the eyes, rectum or with other hydrocortisone products. It is for external use only, and children under 2 should ask a doctor before its use. The inactive ingredients include benzoic acid, chlorphenesin, citric acid, glycerin, glycerol stearate, methyl-paraben, petrolatum, phenoxyethanol, polysorbate 80, purified water, sodium citrate, and titanium dioxide. The cream should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F). If there is a vaginal discharge or bleeding, condition worsens, persists or recurs, the user should consult a physician. If swallowed, users should seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center promptly.*
