Ascor Vial Carton Label
This is a description of a sterile drug named ASCOR* Ascorbic Acid Injection, USP in a vial with a 50mL capacity. Each mL of the drug contains 500mg of ascorbic acid, equivalent to 562.5mg of sodium ascorbate, and 0.25mg of edetate disodium. The pH range of the drug is 5.6-6.6, to which sodium hydroxide and sodium bicarbonate are added for adjustment. The vial should be protected from light and stored in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. The user should exercise caution and use suitable antiseptic agents when preparing stoppers. The drug is for RX only, and the user must check whether the seal is intact before use. The vial may develop pressure during storage.*

ASCOR® is an injection solution of 500mg/ml of Ascorbic Acid, equivalent to 562.5mg/ml of sodium ascorbate, and 0.25mg/ml of edetate disodium. The pH range of the solution is 5.6 to 6.6 and contains no preservatives. The solution must be protected from light, diluted before use, and stored refrigerated between 2°C-8°C. ASCOR® is only intended for adult use and should be used with care when withdrawing. The stoppers should be prepared with a suitable antiseptic solution and aseptic technique should also be followed.
