This is a drug information relating to a Fast Acting Pain Relief lozenge, containing benzocaine and menthol. It is used to temporarily relieve minor irritations, pain, sore throat, and sore mouth. The lozenge should not be used by persons allergic to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine or benzocaine. Severe or persistent sore throat, sore mouth, and other symptoms require immediate medical attention. Children should not use this lozenge unless directed by a doctor. One lozenge every two hours is recommended for adults and children over 6. The product should be stored between 15°C and 30°C, and must be kept out of reach of children. The blister package should not be used if the Chloraseptic name is disturbed or opened.*
