This is a description of a medication containing 200mg of Benzocaine, which is used as an oral anesthetic for temporary pain relief from minor dental procedures. The medication should be used as directed by the dentist on oral mucosa, and it should not be used for teething or in children under two years of age. There are warnings provided about possible methemoglobinemia, which can result in a reduced amount of oxygen in the blood.
