This is a description of Gentamicin Sulfate ophthalmic solution, USP, indicated for ophthalmic use. It contains 3% gentamicin base and includes preservatives and inactive ingredients such as berzalkonium chloride, edetate disodium, polyvinyl alcohol, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, dibasic, and hydrochloric acid. The solution is used for affected eyes with a recommended dosage of one to two drops every four hours. It is advisable to store below 25°C (77°F) to prevent exposure to excessive heat. This product is manufactured by Alergan, Inc.*
