This is a description of Moxifloxacin Ophthalmic Solution, USP. It is a sterile solution for topical ophthalmic use. Each mL contains Moxifloxacin hydrochloride USP 5.45 mg equivalent to Moxifloxacin 5 mg. The inactive ingredients include boric acid, sodium chloride, and water for injection. It may also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH. The usual dosage is one drop in the affected eye three times a day for 7 days. It should be stored between 2° to 25°C (36° to 77°F). Distributed by Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc. and made in India.*
