Hp Label (Hplabel)

Hp Label (Hplabel)
This is a warning label for compressed USP oxygen. The gas is high pressure and oxidizing and can cause a fire in the presence of smoking or oil and grease. It is advised to use this gas with equipment cleaned and rated for cylinder pressure and to use a backflow preventative device in the piping. The cylinder temperature should not exceed 52°C (125°F). Emergency use is allowed for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation, but for all other medical applications, Rx only. Use with pressure reducing equipment and do not use on patients who have stopped breathing unless used in conjunction with resuscitative equipment. The text also indicates production by Air Liquefaction and lists the sizes and contents of the cylinders available.*
