Refresh L is a medication containing Carboxymethylcellulose sodium 0.5% used to temporarily relieve burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. It can also be used as a protectant against further irritation. Care should be taken to avoid contamination of the container by not touching the tip to any surface and replacing the cap after use. If the solution changes color, become cloudy, or if eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye occurs, stop usage and consult a doctor. It is advised to store the medication at a temperature between 59°-86°F (15°-30°C) and to discard it 90 days after opening.
