This is a drug information label for a pain reliever/fever reducer medication containing naproxen sodium. It is stored in tamper-evident packets and each packet contains one caplet with 220 mg of naproxen sodium. It is recommended for minor aches and pains, menstrual cramps, headaches, and toothaches, and can also reduce fever. Directions according to age and condition are stated. It is not recommended for children under 12 years, unless directed by a doctor; and for those over 12 years, it is recommended to follow the stated dosage and not to exceed it. The medication may cause allergic reactions or severe stomach bleeding, especially for those over age 60, those who have stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks a day, or take blood thinning or steroid drugs. A doctor should be consulted prior to use if any of the specified medical conditions are present.*
