This is a drug facts label of a 4 oz (118 ml) fast acting, broad-spectrum preoperative skin preparation solution with povidone-iodine 10% as an active ingredient. It significantly reduces the number of micro-organisms on the skin before surgery to help reduce the risk of skin infection. However, it should not be used by people allergic to iodine or in the eyes. If irritation and redness develop, people should stop using it immediately and seek medical attention if the condition persists for more than 72 hours. The solution contains citric acid, disodium phosphate, glycerin, purified water, sodium citrate, and tween 80 as inactive ingredients.
