This is a Drug Facts label for Hydrocortisone Cream 1% for the temporary relief of minor skin irritation, itching, and rashes caused by eczema, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, jewelry, and for external genital and anal itching. It should not be used in the eyes, for diaper rash, or if you have vaginal discharge. A doctor should be consulted before use if pregnant or breastfeeding. If the condition worsens or persists for more than 7 days or clears up and occurs again within a few days, stop the use and ask a doctor. It should be kept out of reach of children and swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. The cream is applied externally 3 to 4 times daily for adults and children over 2 years of age and consult a doctor for children under 2 years. It contains inactive ingredients like Cetostearyl Alcohol, Chlorocresol, CETETH-20, Edetate Disodium, Liquid Paraffin, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sodium Metabisulphate, and White Soft Paraffin.
