This is a drug facts label for a non-greasy pain relieving cream. It contains active ingredients menthol and methyl salicylate and is used for temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, and bruises. The cream should not be applied to wounds or damaged skin and should be avoided on the eyes or mucous membranes. It should not be used with a heating pad and if symptoms worsen or persist for more than 7 days, a doctor should be consulted. The directions state to apply to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times daily for adults and children over 12 years of age.
