This is a drug information sheet for a medication containing Acetaminophen. This medication is designed to reduce minor aches and pains associated with flu, the common cold, headache, toothache and sore throat. It can also temporarily reduce fever. The active ingredient is Acetaminophen 160mg per 5 mL of suspension liquid. This medication contains a liver warning suggesting that severe liver damage may occur in case of accidental overdose of more than 5 doses in 24 hours, which is the maximum daily amount along with other drugs containing Acetaminophen. The medication also carries warnings for sore throat and advises to consult a doctor promptly if symptoms persist for more than 2 days, accompanied by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting. The medication cannot be used with any other drug containing Acetaminophen (prescription or non-prescription). It is also advised to ask a doctor before use if the child is taking the blood-thinning drug warfarin or if the child has liver disease. Overdose warnings and directions on how to use the enclosed syringe are also available, as well as a dosing chart. Inactive ingredients include Carboxymethylcellulose, Flavor, Glycerin, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Methyl Paraben, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol 1450, Propyl Paraben, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Saccharin Sodium, Sorbitol, Sucralose, and Xanthan Gum.*
