This is a medication used for occasional constipation. The active ingredients are Docusate Sodium and Sennosides. The recommended dose is 24 tablets daily for adults and children over 12 years, preferably taken in the evening or in divided doses. The medication should not be used for longer than 1 week, unless directed by a doctor. Inactive ingredients include cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, dicalcium phosphate, talc, titanium dioxide, and others. It is important to not use the medication if the seal under the cap is missing or broken. It is also important to not use the medication if a sudden change in bowel habits lasts over 2 weeks, to stop use and ask the doctor if there is rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement, and to ask a health professional before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
