This is a drug fact sheet for Extra Strength Calcium Carbonate USP 750mg Antacid Tablets. The tablets fast relief for upset stomach, heartburn, and acid indigestion. They are sugar-free and naturally and artificially flavored. The tablets should not be swallowed whole and should be chewed completely. Adults and children 12 years of age and over should chew 2-4 tablets completely as symptoms occur, or as directed by a doctor. The maximum dosage is not to exceed 9 tablets in 24 hours, and pregnant women should not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours. The product should not be used for symptoms that persist for more than 2 weeks unless advised by a doctor. The ingredients in the tablets include Calcium Carbonate USP 750 mg, adipic acid, FD&C Yellow No. 6 Lake, flavors, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, sorbitol, starch, and sucralose.
