Care Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has issued a warning on their product containing ibuprofen, which is an NSAID. It may cause severe stomach bleeding, and has a higher chance of occurrence in elderly patients or those with stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, or who are taking blood thinning or steroid drugs, among others. Misuse or taking more than directed can increase the risk of heart attack, heart failure, and stroke. Capsule-shaped brown tablets with the marking "2" on one side contain 200mg of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to relieve pain, fever, and inflammation. Extreme allergic reactions, such as hives, facial swelling, asthma, shock, and rash, may occur, especially in people allergic to aspirin. People experiencing these symptoms should seek medical help immediately. The product should be kept out of reach of children and stored at a controlled temperature of 68-77°F.
