Repara Advanced Woundcare Silver Nitrate Applicators are medicated plastic applicators that are used for cauterization of skin or mucous membrane and for the removal of granulation tissue, warts, and verrucae. The length of the applicator is 6 inches, and it contains 75% Silver Nitrate and 25% Potassium Nitrate. One applicator is normally sufficient for each application. The strength of the action is controlled by the amount of water used to moisten the tip. The product is stored at room temperature in the closed package, in a dry place protected from light. The packaging contains 100 each vial, and there are 10 vials per box. Federal (SA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. Ingestion of the product requires immediate ingestion of large amounts of salt water followed by an emetic, and then administer a dose of Epsom salts followed with milk. If poisoning occurs, Immediately call a physician.*

Continued application to mucous membranes and open wounds leads to argyria, a bluish-black discoloration of the skin. The product should be kept away from children and stored at room temperature in a dry place protected from light.*
