This is a professional-use-only treatment gel that helps prevent dental decay. The gel comes in bubble gum cherry, mint, and dye-free mint flavors. The active ingredient is Fluoride Ion 1.23%, which is available from 2.09% Sodium Fluoride and Hydrofluoric Acid. The product comes in a stable thixotropic variety, and is not recommended for home or unsupervised use. Users should not swallow the gel, keep it out of reach of children, and should seek medical attention if accidentally swallowed. The ideal usage is twice a year using a prophylaxis process. The gel can be used for either one minute (80% effectiveness) or for four minutes (100% effectiveness), after which the patent should expectorate excess gel and not consume food or drink for at least 30 minutes. Inactive ingredients include Citric Acid, Flavor, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Phosphoric Acid, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Xanthan Gum, and Xylitol.*
