Metronidazole Vaginal Gel is a product manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals that is used for intravaginal use only. It comes with five applicators and is not intended for ophthalmic, dermal, or oral use. Each gram of the gel contains 0.75% metronidazole and 15 mg of methyl paraben and 3 mg of propylparaben in a gel that consists of purified water, propylene glycol, carbomer 974P, and edetate disodium. The usual dosage is one applicatorful administered intravaginally every evening for five days, or as prescribed by a physician. It is important to follow package instructions and store at controlled room temperature between 15°C to 30°C.*
