Ashlyna® is a contraceptive manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited in India for Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc in the US. It contains Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol and comes in a package that is not child-resistant. The product prevents pregnancy but does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. It contains 91 tablets, 84 light blue to blue tablets with 0.15 mg of levonorgestrel and 0.03 mg of ethinyl estradiol, and 7 light yellow to yellow tablets with 0.01 mg of ethinyl estradiol each. It should be taken one tablet daily for 91 consecutive days, in a specific order as prescribed. It should be stored between 20°C to 25°C, protected from light, and comes with patient information that should be delivered to the user. Blister cards should not be sold separately.*
