Orasol Gel is an oral anesthetic gel that provides temporary relief from toothache, minor dental procedures, discomfort from dentures or braces. The active ingredient in Orasol Gel is Benzocaine 20%. The product comes in individual packets with tamper-evident packaging. The gel should not be used for testing and is not recommended for children below two years of age. The product should not be used more than seven days unless directed by a dental practitioner or doctor. The inactive ingredients of the gel include PEG 400, PEG 3350, peppermint oil, sodium saccharin, and ascorbic acid. The product may cause Methemoglobinemia and allergic reactions to some individuals who have sensitivity to anesthetics such as procaine or butacaine.
