It also includes benzalkonium chloride as a preservative and other inactive substances such as edetate disodium, glycerin, povidone, purified water, and tyloxapol. The pH of the suspension may be adjusted with hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide. The medication should be stored upright at a temperature between 15° to 25°C and should not be frozen. Before use, the medication should be shaken vigorously, and it is only for ophthalmic use.
