This is a description for Children's Ibuprofen Oral Suspension, a pain reliever and fever reducer for children. The active ingredient in each milliliter is Ibuprofen, USP 100mg. This medication is a generic for Children's Motrin and is manufactured by Taro Pharmaceuticals in the USA. The package includes cautionary instructions for use, drug facts and other important information. The medication must be kept at a temperature between 20°- 23°C (68°- 17°F) and well-shaken before use. It is available in a berry flavor and is dye-free. The dosage is one or two teaspoonfuls every 6-8 hours. The product has warnings to not give more than directed and to not transfer the drug to anyone other than the patient for whom it was prescribed.
